Ingredients

  • 2 cans (28 oz/798 ml each) peach slices in light syrup, drained
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar, divided
  • 1/4 cup pecan halves, toasted, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. each: ground cinnamon and ground ginger
  • 1-1/2 cups Post Original Shredded Wheat Spoon Size cereal, crushed
  • 1/4 cup non-hydrogenated margarine, melted

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine peaches, 1/4 cup sugar, pecans, lemon juice and spices; spoon into 1.4-L casserole dish.
  2. Mix cereal, remaining 1/4 cup sugar and the margarine until blended; sprinkle over peach mixture.
  3. Bake 45 min. or until lightly browned.
